What is the English alphabet?
The English alphabet contains the letters we use to write English.
The English alphabet has 26 letters – 5 vowels and 21 consonants.

What is the difference between upper case and lower case letters?
Upper case letters are known as “big letters.” This means they are normally bigger than the lower case letters.
Examples:
A, B, C, D, E
Lower case letters are known as “small letters.” This means they are normally smaller than the upper case letters.
Examples:
a, b, c, d, e
What is the difference between a consonant and a vowel?
Vowels are made by pushing air out of the mouth which is not blocked/stopped by the tongue, lips or teeth.
Consonants are made by pushing air out of the mouth which is blocked/stopped by the tongue, lips or teeth.
